By accessing or using Busy Family.ai (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. Your continued use after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Definitions
Service means Busy Family.ai’s web and mobile applications, APIs, and related content.
User Content refers to any information or data you upload—including calendar events, notes, and messages.
Private Event means any calendar entry you do not mark as shared or public.
Public Event means any event you explicitly choose to share with other families.
3. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Users may view availability, RSVP to events, propose gatherings, and receive personalized newsletters. You may not engage in unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering of APIs, or distribution of malicious code. Keep your login credentials secure and notify Busy Family.ai of any breaches.
4. Intellectual Property
All proprietary content, code, logos, and trademarks on Busy Family.ai are owned by Busy Family Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission. User-generated content remains your property, but by using the Service you grant Busy Family.ai a license to display it.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Busy Family.ai integrates with Google Calendar and other providers. We disclaim liability for third-party outages or changes. You represent you have valid agreements with any provider you connect.
6. Calendar-Sharing & Privacy Controls
Only events you mark as public will be shared; private events remain hidden. You can update sharing settings at any time. We store only metadata and do not access private descriptions unless you opt in.
7. AI-Driven Newsletters
We generate biweekly “Week Ahead” and “Weekend Outlook” newsletters. While we use industry-standard algorithms, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy. You may opt out or adjust calendar selections at any time.
8. SMS Messaging & TCPA Compliance
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS alerts under TCPA. Messages include opt-out instructions (“Reply STOP to unsubscribe”) and are sent only between 8 AM and 9 PM local time.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranty. Busy Family.ai disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Busy Family Inc. from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, including spamming or unauthorized data access. You may close your account at any time via settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California.
